I've never been able to hold gainful employment because of this and have been on disability for the past 5 yrs. My father just recently started recieving SSI after having multiple heart attacks and has been declared totally and permanently disabled. Under law, am I entitled to something known as survivors benefits? I ask this because I just got a letter in the mail saying that the SSA has been trying to contact me about my case. &lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">M.
